Deposit Terms: The deposit required to confirm your reservation is equal to 1/2 the total stay cost (minimum one day) and must be made when placing your reservation. For deposits we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Final Payment: Final payment is due in the week prior to your arrival. In order to limit physical contact while we are all living with the Covid-19 virus, we require a ask that all guests call us a day or more in advance of arrival to finalize payment and get the latest information about visiting Provincetown. For final payment we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or cash.
Rooms are priced for 2-person occupancy (sorry, no more than 2 people per room). Our Inn has an adult clientele and all guests must be 18 or older.
Cancellations and Early Departure:
As a small business, every cancellation affects us significantly.
EARLY CANCELLATIONS: Written notice of cancellation or change in length of stay is required no later than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to avoid full forfeiture of your deposit.
Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of your arrival date are subject to a fee of 20% of the deposit paid regardless of notice or circumstance. As of May 15 2020, we are suspending cash refunds. Remaining funds after cancellation fees are applied will be converted to a voucher, good for 2 years, for use with a different stay.
LATE CANCELLATION: Cancellations made within 30 days of your arrival date agree to forfeit the entire deposit amount.
No refunds are given due to medical or family emergencies, bad weather, missed or canceled flights or ferry, change of plans, etc. There are no refunds for early departure. We recommend you purchase trip/travel insurance. That's worth saying again - we recommend you purchase trip/travel insurance.
Taxes: There is an additional 14.45% tax added to the room price. All rates are based on double occupancy (additional guests are not permitted).
Check In/Out: For your comfort and safety, our check-in process has changed to maximize social distancing. Specifics will be conveyed to you during our pre-arrival phone conversation in the week prior to your arrival.
Check out is 11am. Late checkouts are not possible due to increased time needed to clean, disinfect, and sanitize rooms. We are sorry, but we are not able to hold your bags for you.
All guests must be 18 or over. Charm caters to an adult clientele with rooms restricted to no more than two person occupancy.
Room Capacity: Maximum of two guests per room. That's not just us being cranky - we have capacity limits set by the town that we need to abide by. We do not have roll-outs, sofa beds or sleeping bags. Additional people are not permitted.
Parking Policy: Parking is included only with specified rooms, please see the room descriptions for details. We are not able to accommodate additional cars of people visiting you while you stay with us. Our parking spaces are large enough for mid-sized vehicles or smaller. Trucks and other large vehicles cannot be accommodated, and you will need to find alternate parking in a town lot.
Parking is at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for damages to your vehicle while parked at Charm, and vehicle owners are liable for any damage done by their vehicle.
Lost Keys: We take our guest's safety and comfort very seriously, and therefore when a key is lost we take the precaution of re-keying the lock on the room. A $75 lost key charge will be charged.
Smoking Policy/E-Cigarettes/Candles/Extra Cleaning: For the comfort of our guests, all of Charm's rooms and indoor common areas are smoke-free. Anyone who smokes inside the premises will be asked to find other accommodations and be assessed a $250 cleaning fee. Smoking is permitted in all outdoor common areas, including the front yard (just please do not sit on our front steps) and tree top deck. Candles or any open flame is prohibited anywhere in the house including each room. Any damage done by guest will be assessed and charged to the guest. Any additional cleaning beyond normal housekeeping such as but not limited to wine, make-up, blood or other stains will be charged additional cleaning or replacement as needed.
No pets. Sorry, pets are not allowed. We reserve the right to refuse check-in to guests with pets, or to revoke permission to stay on the premises if guests are found violating this policy. No refunds will be given. We suggest you consider boarding your pet during your stay with the lovely folks at
